Rainy Days and Hunter Boots

Everyone who works at a school knows about duty. This year I was assigned car duty. I have to stand out and help direct cars, keep kids safe (and out of the way of said cars), and help find children (for parents driving aforementioned cars). So our first rainy day, out came the Hunter boots! I am so glad I bought these last fall. They came in handy with all the rainy days we get. Matt got me boot liners for them for Christmas and they helped me transition them into winter, too. Even if I have to play traffic cop this year, at least my feet will be warm, dry, and cute!
Do you own a pair of rain boots?

  2. I always feel bad for the teachers who have car duty in the winter! But you look so cute! I love Hunters but do not own a pair. Do they keep your feet warm or just dry? I am wondering how they do in winter(: Susan

  3. The boots alone won't keep your feet warm, but the fleece liners really help with that!

  7. love this look. I have yet to wear my rain boot with dresses or skirt. I'm hoping to find some boot liners when I go to the states in a couple months.

  10. I'm so jealous. Hunter boots don't fit my apparently too large calves.

  12. Wow, your sideway ponytail goes so well with this delightful striped dress. I looked Delia's site you linked, they have some trending items with friendly price tag. Thanks for sharing, I just bookmarked their site.

  16. What a bummer! I do think they make ones with wider legs though!

  17. The striped dress and boots are adorable - it can be the simple things that make all the difference, like having warm dry feet.

  20. Such a cute little striped dress! :)

I don't own a pair of rain boots, although come storm season I always wish I did. There aren't many days here that call for rain boots to be honest!

  21. Such a cute combo! Those rainboots are just darling! I like the Hunter green color. I just own black matte ones so they aren't anything to shout about haha

  22. GORG combo! I own a similar pair but living in San Diego, I get to wear it about twice a year...actually, last year, I wore it once. It never rains in Southern California...that is actually true.
