I've had this poor dress hanging in my closet since last summer just begging to be re-hemmed and worn. I finally got around to it earlier this summer, but didn't wear it till this weekend to Zoo a la Carte (a fundraiser for the zoo where local restaurants set up tents and serve food with entertainment, too). Wearing a white dress was a chance I took with all the alcohol, people walking around with food, and taking a small child, but sometimes you just have to take a deep breath and make sure your clothes are washable. It ended up being fine and served as a good reminder to me that clothes are meant for wearing not sitting in my closet! Do you ever avoid certain clothes out of fear for stains?
