I swear this tank goes with everything I pair it with. Or mostly goes. I love it when I see pattern mixing with patterned shorts and wanted to try it out. The pink in my tank was a perfect match for the shorts! It was a tad bold for me so I threw my chambray on over top. I think it works. At least none of the other moms at the playground looked at me funny. Well, that I saw anyway! Happy Friday!

  3. The first thing I thought was how perfectly the tee and shorts go together! I've been wearing a chambray layer and converse shoes a lot lately!

  13. I was just starting my fall wish list and I am wondering if I need to add a dark chambray top. I have a light one, like yours. But do I need a dark one too? I love this look - summer at its best(: Susan

  14. Old Navy is so great for shorts. So many colors, prints and inseams and so affordable! I adore the color and print on this pair and I think your pattern mixing worked brilliantly. I was also excited to read that you picked up a Portofino and cannot WAIT to see you style it on the blog! I'll definitely be on the lookout for that post. :)

  15. Really terrific look! I love this look. The chambray top looks great layered over this, and I love it without, too. Great combination!

  17. I find my lighter colored one more versatile, but that is because my jeans tend to be darker and I like the contrast. I do have a polka dot chambray that is a little darker though.

  18. They really are! I got quite a few at the end of summer last year and they were all like $5! I love their sales!

  23. How sweet! I love how you matched the floral tank with the patterned shorts. It's a really nice look and I'm sure if the ladies at the playground were looking at you, it was because they loved the look!:)

  24. OK so I bought the same shorts last year both the fuchsia ones (that I cannot find - it sucks) and the white with black print ones. Love the chicness of this sporty look. Funny looks from other moms are not necessary a bad thing.
