I’ve been wearing skirts a lot to work lately to help with the heat. They are professional, but cool enough in a non airconditioned building (at least for another week anyway, after June 17th it’s all about shorts until late August!). Without the option of layers, I am turning to my colored belt collection to add a bit of interest to my outfits. I buy all my belts larger than I need. I get them so they fit my hips, and then I use a leather hole punch to add additional holes so I can wear it around my waist. They are less than $10 on amazon and are worth it! Do you do that for belts, too?

I ended up wearing this to a graduation party a couple weekends ago. It was a warm day and so I wanted a cute outfit, but one that allowed be to be running after and playing with Claire. Printed shorts were a great choice, especially when you have to crawl through a dog fence to get your daughter! I have seen so many cute printed shorts in stores lately, I am eyeingthese and these nautical ones from Old Navy!
See how else I’ve worn my floral tophere and how else I’ve worn these shorts here!
