Straw Fedora

Top-Gap (similar, similar) | Shorts-Old Navy (similar, similar) | Hat-JCrew Factory (exact, similar, similar) | Bracelet-DIY | Sandals-Steve Madden (exact, similar)

This straw fedora is actually only the second item I've ever purchased from JCrew Factory. Don't get me wrong, I could buy that whole store. I love it all! But unless they are having a really good sale I can't justify some of the prices. Of course this time when I went there was a really good sale...and I was just about out of budget for the month! So all I came out with was this fedora. It's been something that is a bit out of my style, but I wanted to give it a shot. If you don't try things out of your comfort zone, it can get boring after a while!

  4. I have a couple of Fedoras albeit they are in the States as are these same identical shorts =(. Love this Casual, Super Chic Ensemble. I can re-create it when I am reunited with those shorts, hopefully this August. I even have similar sandals. =)

  14. You look lovely! I'm loving this hat and the shorts on you! I almost bought the hat when it was on super sale and then talked myself out of it. Not sure if I'm cool enough to pull off a hat.;)

  16. I totally agree with you on J.Crew Factory--I love everything, but prices have to be at least 50% off for me to consider buying! You look great in that cute fedora!

  23. I'm looking for a feminine hat that will protect me from the sun and won't smash my hair. I follow your blog and thought of you...any ideas?

  24. Hmm. I think wide brim hats are so pretty and feminine. I would just suggest making sure it isn't too tight to start off with. I try to avoid hairspray when I wear hats and go for a wavy or 'less done' style so if there is a mark from the hat it blends in more, too. Hope that helps!

  25. Thank you. You've given me the idea to use a triple-barrel waver that day. (And I hope I can find a cute hat at all!)
