For those of you who read this post, you know I've been struggling with pain while running for a while. The brace helped a bit and so did a cortisone shot, but not for long. So I had an MRI done last week and talked to my doctor about it. The only option I haven't tried at this point is surgery. Gulp. Luckily he has an opening for this Friday so I don't have too much time to get myself all worked up. I had a feeling it would eventually come to this and at least it is during the summer so no missed work or hobbling around after students (just my active daughter!). It will be a big week getting some meals made and things in order so recovery can go smoothly and my husband isn't doing everything on his own, but I hope in the end it will be worth it! Can crutches be an accessory? ;)
See two other ways I've worn these shoes here!

  1. I read somewhere else on a comment you posted about your surgery and was planning (still am) to E-Mail you today actually. So good luck with that and I wish you a quick, full recovery.

Your new Neon Sweater is perfect for Summer. I always find the pair of White+Yellow perfect for warm months. Those striped loafers are the icing on this amazing cake!!

  15. It is hard for me to imagine someone young like you could possibly suffer such scale of knee pain. I have heard people benefited greatly from a simple procedure on knees. Then, good luck and you will be fine!

  16. Thankfully I only have pain during running, but it does get to the point where I need to stop after only 1 mile. As a long time distance runner I just want to get back to the point where I can do a half marathon or marathon again!
