Twofer Tuesday: Last of Winter (hopefully)

I have wanted to pair my striped top with this vest for a while and figured I better do it soon! It's funny though, as it gets nicer outside it gets colder in work. I never know if I should dress for the weather outside or inside. Once the boilers are turned off, it's the few weeks out of the year I'm so grateful my vent doesn't work and I have no outside walls (no windows)!

I may be jinxing myself, but hopefully this is the last of my winterish looks. I looked at the 10 day forecast on weather.com and it looks like 40s and above for a high (and 65 on Saturday!). You know what I call that? ....SPRING!!
I know that's cold winter for a lot of people, but around here that is trench-coat-leave-the-knit-hats-at-home weather. All the better if the sun is out. I still find it hysterical when it hits 50 and I see people with their sun roofs open though.
Have you checked out my giveaway for a pair of statement earrings?

  4. Both looks are ahmazing but I am totally obsessed with your vest in outfit one!! It looks just like the on from J. Crew that I never could muster up the courage to buy (aka spend that kinda money ha!) Love how you pattern mixed it and put it with leopard shoes--perfection!

  5. That first Outfit - Gorgeous. I love the head to toe Monochromatic look. It is very much a Laura Outfit, too.

On the second Outfit, that pastel Plaid Scarf is so pretty and perfect for Spring and I love the lace detail on your Cardi.

I, too, hope it is the last Wintery Tuesday for you. You guys have had enough. 7 months of Winter is A LOT! =D

  7. OMG I know, right!? It was cute, but not $100+ cute. I was so happy to find this at Target and I've worn the heck out of it!

  12. The snow behind you is finally melting! hoorah! I adore your vest and think it looks fabulous with the stripes! I find this time of year terrible to dress for-- it's cold in the mornings outside, but the heaters are cranked inside... in some buildings.

  15. I am hoping we are done with winter too! It's true that most places really crank up the a/c the moment it gets even a little warm. So crazy that we can never get a break and enjoy the warm!

  18. I love the black stripes and vest with the maroon pants. And that you thrifted those pants is even better! Thanks for sharing. And being in Chicago, I can totally relate to being grateful for anything above 40. My husband and I were joking this past weekend that all we hope for is "Light Gray and 40" and anything better than that is a bonus at this point. It's even sunny today here so thinks are really looking up...

I'm a regular visitor and love your looks.

  19. Thanks Jen! I am just north of you in Milwaukee! Light Gray and 40 is hilarious. I know 40 is still cold, but it doesn't have that bite to it the way the 30s and below do. It's super exciting today since it's supposed to be 60. I feel like I'm living the dream now! ;)

  20. Oh my gosh, we have the opposite problem at work right now. They haven't turned off the boilers yet, and it has been in the 60s - TOO HOT! Haha :) I really like your first outfit - super classic and not too busy :) I like the cardigan in your second outfit, too - the lace panel is sooo pretty!

  21. I looked through all your outfits. What can I say? Everything look great on you! I chose this solely because of your scarf and jeans. Now I have ideas for what to wear for this whole week.

I will go through my sky-high pile of jeans tomorrow. If I can't find one similar to yours, I will order one through your link.

    Thank you again, Laura!
