First of all, this post will be in pink text in honor of Renae of Simple Sequins and her battle against breast cancer. She was supposed to start her chemo today (which was postponed), but nevertheless this post is in pink to show my support of her and everyone who has, has had, or has been affected by breast cancer. Renae is a super sweet lady and awesome blogger. I am in awe of her amazing attitude! Go Renae!

In regards to my outfit, I actually wasn't going to keep this chambray. It was one of those things you think is ok and add to your Old Navy order to get free shipping. I figured I already have a great basic chambray, why do I need two? Well as it turns out I totally do! I only kept this and one other shirt from my order. It's nice to have a slightly darker option and the polka dots are perfect for subtle pattern mixing!

How many chambray tops do you own?

  3. What a wonderful gesture for Renae, I will be sure and keep her in my thoughts.

And I love that you kept the shirt... I am SO guilty of adding things to my cart for free shipping!

  14. I have two chambray shirts: one is a lighter material, but darker color, the other is a lighter color, but heavier fabric. I ordered a polka dot chambray once, but it wasn't the right size, and by the time I got it, they were sold out of the right size online. I really like this outfit on you. It's so sweet of you to be thinking about others in the way you do :)

Nice subtle print mixing with the stripes and polka dots too! I don't own any chambray shirts (as I hate ironing shirts!!!) but I do like the polka dot ones :)
