Not Over Yet!

What an amazing weekend! And the best part is, I still have today off so it's not over yet! My friend and I planned a 'sprinkle' for a pregnant friend of ours. This was the second shower we have planned together and if this speech path thing doesn't work out, I think we could have a go as party planners! ;)

We had a lovely sit down dinner at my house and the decorations and food were amazing. Of course we totally forgot to get photos. Oops! But we had lights on the ceiling, and tissue balls, chinese lanterns, and penant banners for decorations. We had these delicious mini goat cheese and pesto pizza appetizers, pasta, cheddar bread, salad, and cupcakes for dessert. I think you know you did a good job when you'd want the shower for yourself!

Yesterday after church we drove down to my aunt's house for the family Easter celebration. We hadn't gone in 2 years and it was so nice. My aunt plans these crazy scavenger hunt/minute to win it competitions for the kids and then had some fun gifts for Claire. She loved playing with her new purse and hat. I have to give her props, too. She was awesome and considering her lack of nap (30 minutes of sleep each way in the car) there were no meltdowns. Although, I believe that had something to do with the cookies and attention she was getting!
See how else I've worn this sweater here, here, and here.

  3. WOW your weekend sounds amazing. I have heard about sprinkles, usually for 2nd babies or 3rd or more, right? I wish you could have taken photos. The food sounds amazing.

I am digging your Blazer and this style and those kind of Stripes are exactly the kind of Striped Blazer I am looking to add to my closet. And that fabulous fuchsia necklace matches the glasses of the fox, perfectly.

  11. I pretty much cooperate and do just about anything when I get cookies. They really are the best way to bribe a girl :)
