Love and Baby Proofing

With the time I spent on this sweatshirt, I couldn't wait until next Valentine's Day to break it out again. But as I have heard from many, love is an everyday thing not just once a year so celebrate it! Well ok then! I actually didn't plan on wearing my scarf, but it was cold at work that day so I just left it on. Gosh I love practical accessories!
Claire even came out to take pictures with me for this. She hates missing out on the action. Yes, that is my lipstick in her hand. She thinks all purses are her play toys. You never really realize all the things that you still need to baby proof until your kiddos start walking. Her absolute favorite is running back to her room and pulling books off the shelf and looking at them (Ok, I secretly love how much she enjoys books). At least she hasn't found the toilet roll yet!

  1. your daughter is adorable. I don't have any children yet. So my house is in no way kid proof. Which doesn't help when my friend 7 year old like to touch all my breakable items

  8. Claire is absolutely darling! I can't even imagine having to baby-proof my place. I have to dog-proof, but that's usually making sure nothing is on the floor and that there's nothing edible within their reach. I really like your sweater, and am happy to see it again! It would be a shame to only wear it once a year!

  11. Oh little Claire is adorable! She is in such a fun "get into everything" stage now. Cute LOVE sweater that ...yes, you can wear anytime, anytime you want. But I really love your skirt the most in this set. I am feeling a bunch better finally. Not looking forward to chemo tho. Nope. But blogging keeps me happy so I am going be blogging as much as possible then...hope, hope!

  18. I looove that skirt!!

Cat-proofing is even harder than baby-proofing! Unlike a child, the cat will jump up onto any surface, like above the kitchen cabinets. I actually keep the toilet roll under the sink so that my cat won't shred it up. :-P

  19. I guess our cat is pretty tame! Although he did give me quite a scare once when I walked into the kitchen one morning and found him on top of the fridge! They do get into quite a bit!
