Striped Skirt and Mustard

I am not quite sure why I haven't put mustard together with this skirt, but after seeing this pin I had to remedy it. I did trade out the shoes though. While the shoes in the pin are adorable, there is not a chance in hell you will see me wearing open toed shoes for at least another 2 months. Lucky for me, boots work just as well! And tights. When it's -15 you must at least wear tights!

  1. This looks great! I've had that same inspiration outfit pinned for a while now but haven't gotten around to trying it. I love how it looks on you! Oh, and you are so right about the open-toed shoes. Even flats are pushing it right now.

  7. I have that same pin and was waiting until warmer weather to recreate it, but after seeing your take (which is a winning look in my book), I might not have to wait as long! I also really like your tights!

  8. You look lovely in mustard! I wish I did- it tends to make me look, well, like I have mustard-colored skin. Haha. Argh. But you're rockin' it. :)

  10. Well mustard does go with pretty much anything. And so does a B+W Pencil Skirt. I am itching to wear mine the same, also. ;-) You have great tights from Wal Mart WOW!! And you are looking stunning in these photos, especially 2 & 3. =)

  11. I like the boots better than the sandals from the pin. They seem a little too high/strappy to go with the casual level of the outfit!
