Twofer Tuesday: Dressy

I got this necklace this past summer after thinking how much use I would get from it. I wore it twice and then it sat. I liked my cobalt and white outfit so much I inspired myself to pair the same colors in a different way! The white really stands out against the darker colors.

This is what I wore on our date night about a week ago. I found this dress on clearance when I was visiting Matt in Ireland a few years ago. He was working over there for his company at the time and I took full advantage and visited as much as I could! I loved the color and print, but the fit is what got me! Because of the draping in the front, I can eat as much as I want and the dreaded 'food baby' is disguised! The ribbon hits me almost at the smallest part of my waist. Why can't there be more miracle dresses out there?! Life would be too easy then! ;)

  4. adorable dress. I need to go in Zara. Every time I'm downtown I walk right past it. Also your white statement necklace can go with so many things.

  5. That dress is beautiful. Besides the front part that hides a lot, I also love the sleeves and of course that print. Also, on the first Outfit, you are making me want to try Cobalt with Black + Gray. Can you please provide the link from where in EBay you got that necklace? Thanks so much.

  11. I think the white flower necklace is a nice pop of (non) color and contrast for your first outfit - you should totally wear it more often, what a fun piece!
