Plaid Scarf and Polka Dots

See how else I've worn this sweatshirt herehere, and here!

Even though I don't have too much red in my closet, but I had just torn apart an old shirt of my husband's and sewed it into a scarf (yes I left the buttons on, I thought they were a fun touch!). It's a perfect touch for this week. I loved this pin when I saw it and got my inspiration from it. I wore this on a casual day at work so with my embellished sweatshirt and jeans, the scarf was a nice, festive touch!

  2. We are scarf twins today. I also paired mine with a Ivory/White Sweatshirt. Your Outfit today also reminds me of my Outfit with the Jeans and Gray Sweatshirt (linked here http://elegancepersonification.blogspot.com/2014/01/pinned-it-and-did-it-gray-sweatshirt.html). Aten't they similar? =) Great minds think alike three times indeed.

  7. Love the scarf! Taking inspiration from your husbands closet is genius! Just last week I saw a shirt in my husbands goodwill pile. It was a simple white and navy button up. I asked him why it was in the pile and he said it made him feel like a sausage. I put it on and the arms were slightly wide but the fit was actually perfect. It's much too long to wear untucked but perfect for tucking as it gives me better range of motion than most women's button ups. I threw a cardigan over it and wore it to work! It's a new favorite :)

  9. I don't really understand how he can feel like a sausage, but his loss is your gain! ;) I have a men's shirt from JCrew that I like a lot. Like yours, the arms are a little big, but who cares? I like they are a little longer for tucking in too! I might have to keep an eye our for more men's shirts in the future!

  11. Love this look! I never thought to pair polka dots and plaid, but they look way cute together. I happen to have just bought this exact sweater from a fellow blogger, so I now have some inspiration for how to wear it!
