I'm taking a little break from pink and red (for now). I had so much fun co-hosting the Valentine's Link Up last week I think I was a little overzealous so you will probably be seeing a few more looks soon. Thank you again to Andi at Just Another Smith for asking us all to participate and organizing it all. If you didn't get a chance to link up, today is the last day. I had so much fun getting to know new bloggers! Thank you to all who linked up!
I've always liked the look of a vest with a blazer on men so I tried mine own take on it for this look. To make it a little more spring-like, I added my green gingham check and floral flats. I like how it turned out and want to try it again with my navy or pink vest and tweed blazer soon.
See how else I've worn this blazer here.

this makes me want spring so badly! love that green
ReplyDeleteThis came out great. That green is so fresh. Love how the shirt brings out the belt and the slight pattern-mixing between gingham and floral. The ballet flats are too cute.
ReplyDeleteI am all layered up today too albeit yours is Spring layers mine is Wintery.
Really cute! I have that same shirt and can't wait to start styling it for spring. The floral looks great with gingham.
ReplyDeleteI love the fresh pops of Green. You look great. Hmm, maybe I should think about adding a bit of Green to my closet for Spring??
ReplyDeleteI love the vest/blazer look! Such a good idea to try it yourself - you made it look feminine. You did such a good job last week, but I'm sure it's nice to wear another color!
ReplyDeleteI love the gingham and floral together! So cute! And thanks again for joining in on the V-day week! It was awesome!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Shon! You would look lovely in green! It's such a fun color, especially for spring when we finally get to see something other than white outside! ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of wearing something between a blazer and a top. Seems obvious, and yet I don't think I've done it more than once. I know what you mean though about being done with red and pink. It was good because it forced me to incorporate color in my outfits, but I'm okay with going back to a neutral palette for now :)
ReplyDeleteNice mix of the gingham with the floral flats - subtle and nice!
ReplyDeleteI have a vest like yours that I'm trying to figure out what to pair with it. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute look! I particularly love the green gingham and the floral flats :)
ReplyDeleteThe green gingham makes this preppy outfit so unique.
