I have totally hopped on the plaid bandwagon. It's such a fun print for coloring mixing. So are stripes for that matter! I have a couple plaid scarves with pinks and purples, but I wanted one with darker colors. Oh and I didn't feel like paying tons. I saw a tutorial on how to make one and it seemed simple enough. While it took me 15 minutes instead of 10, I call it a total success (especially since the extra time was because of me having to rethread the bobbin a couple times). With a coupon, my material was only $6 and because it took a whole yard, there was no cutting! I've already made another from some scraps of fabric I had laying around and am working on reconfiguring one of my husband's old plaid shirts now, too!
