Well we probably won’t be getting any more gorgeous days like this for a while. Just Sunday we had to spend some time in the basement for a tornado warning. Thankfully we were very lucky and nothing touched down, but I am praying for everyone impacted by the bad storms. I know there was a lot of damage done in Illinois.

Seen this sweatshirt a few times? I’m really loving styling it and it is so fun to pattern mix. Major plus is the comfort factor, too! I think an embellished sweatshirt is a great way to ease into pattern mixing. Some embellished sweatshirts are more of a graphic look or just a bit of jeweled or sequin accent it technically isn’t a pattern. With a patterned shirt underneath it or a patterned bottom (as I worehere) or even just with printed shoes (as I wore here) are all easy ways to add an additional pattern or interest to the look!

I definitely feel like the tights make this outfit. Well, at the very least the add some fun visual interest. Since the cardigan is loose fitting, I paired it with a pencil skirt to balance it out. Last week, I wasn’t happy with my second Twofer outfit. There wasn’t enough interest on the bottom half. The tights and tall boots add interest. Black booties would be a fun option, too!
Congratulations to Paige, the winner of the bracelet! Thanks to all who entered!
