Twofer: Lots of Layers

Sweater-Old Navy (similar, fun option) // Jeans and shirt-Gap (similar shirt, similar) // Socks-Souvenir // Boots-Hunter via Shoes.com (exact) // Necklace and ring-Souvenirs // Watch-Michael Kors

Finally got my Hunter boots that I have been wanting! And then the rain stopped. It was wet enough the day I wore this outfit from some light snow that night to justify though. And justify I will! I've seen so many great colors of Hunter boots, it was really hard to decide. I tend to stick with plainer colors because that is what I find I will wear most.
Do you like to chose bright items or stick to plain/neutral colors?

I got this skirt a couple weeks ago from thredUp along with a few other pieces. I had been eyeing it for a while and I am so glad it never sold. I loved my mint shorts so much in the summer, I am glad I have a mint skirt to wear in the colder weather!

  6. Seriously, stop being so cute. That first outfit is awesome! I love the plaid peeking out of the sweater, and your Hunters are a perfect color for you! I think I'd pick something similar if I were to ever get some. And your mint skirt is so pretty!

  7. Thank you! I figure with a plainer color they are more likely to go with lots of things and stay in style longer. I got a ton of great skirts this month from thredUp, I think this is my favorite!

  19. I absolutely adore both of these layered outfits. I pinned the first one already. The second one I like slightly more since I love skirts, booties & tights for cold days. It's the girly girl in me. =)

Also, Happy 11 months to Claire. It was a couple of days ago, I didn't forget. =)
