Well it was a super busy weekend for us, but I feel like fall tends to get like that. Saturday we drove down to Indiana to see Matt’s grandpa and his family met us there. Sunday we had my family at our house for lunch and then family pictures taken by my friend. It’s been over 10 years since we had family pictures taken so my brother and I decided it would be the perfect Christmas present for our parents, especially since our family has changed so much in the last 10 years! (Obviously we gave them their present early.) I am really excited to see how they turn out, I think there were some really cute ones of my niece and Claire together.
I pulled my capris out for probably the last time this past week since it looks like our warm October weather is starting to cool off. I took advantage of it as much as I could. I know there are obvious summer clothes many people pack away, like shorts and capris. But, I try to use most of my clothes throughout the year. My camis and short sleeve shirts I just layer under sweaters and I wear cardigans and blazers over dresses. I also wear bright colors once in a while (like my coral blazer I plan to wear through fall and winter).
How much of your wardrobe do you try to transition across seasons?
