I was able to get a few things on my fall wish list like some sequin accented items and a red cardigan. I still want a leather accented item and Hunter boots. I have enough saved that I can definitely afford them, but pulling the trigger for expensive items is a little hard for me. There have been a couple sales, but unfortunately they haven't had my size available. I am debating another pair of booties, except in black or a pair of oxfords. I actually purchased two pairs of oxfords, but wasn't happy with how they looked at all. Hopefully I eventually find some other pair of shoes that will work for winter because it is nice to have an alternative to boots.

  1. When I was looking for oxfords a little over a year ago, I couldn't find anything anywear. But luckily now it seems like a lot of places are carrying different options, hopefully there's something out there that works for you. Also, you got a whole lot of great staples this month without a whole lot of $$!

  2. Your wish list looks almost exactly like mine!! I got the fox sweater and a sequin tee. I am looking for a good pair of shoes too. I like the oxford idea. I saw a pair of tweed loafers that I love but not in my size:( Let me know if you find good oxfords! Susan

  3. Great job! I know what you mean about pulling the trigger on expensive items, but if it's something you really want and will get a lot of use out of, go for it! I love the pieces you got this month. :)

  7. I saw your outfit post with your daughter and your sequin tee and burgundy pants which is so funny because I have a similar outfit for tomorrow! Great minds...! ;) The tweed loafers sound adorable! Too bad they weren't in your size.

  8. The problem is stores keep having sales, but don't have my size. I just keep holding out buying them and hoping it will work out for me. I can't wait to see what you got! :)

  9. I liked it because it was more fitted than a regular puffer vest and made of a tweed material. I'm glad I swiped it up before they went out of stock at my local Target!

  11. WOW SUCH GREAT DEALS. That's roughly 10 bucks for each item. I love, love the Oxford Booties & that Vest the most. I, too want the sequined sweat-shirt from Old Navy. I have the Fox Sweater which I love. In my to buy-list: a leather-accented tee, like a white tee w/ black leather sleeves. I would also love a Tweed+Leather Vest. Especially after seeing yours. =)

Hope Claire had a great first Halloween. Please share photos. And make sure you mention that you are Guest Posting for me, tomorrow. Thanks again. =)

  13. I have been on the fence about getting wedge booties (#13)-- they look like a great option for a colder weather shoe, but I have no clue how to wear them! I can't wait to see how you style them!
