Twofer

Blouse- Michael Kors via TJ Max; Skirt- Ralph Lauren via Goodwill; Belt- Penney's (Irish Store); Earrings- New York & Company; Shoes- Payless; Necklace- Ara Nicole

It was hanging right in front of me and I couldn't believe it. A navy pencil skirt with pockets for $5 in great shape. Did I mention it's Ralph Lauren?? I couldn't pick it up fast enough! Thanks Goodwill! I knew it would be perfect with my MK top I got a couple months ago.

Anyway, I am including two outfit posts today. I try to participate in the Weekly Trend Spin link up every week because I feel like it challenges me a little and helps me think of outfits I typically wouldn't think of otherwise. This week was hats. Ug. It's hot and I typically only wear hats in the winter for practical reasons. I have no idea how to make a baseball cap look cute (and I rarely wear them anyway). But I do wear this one I bought years ago. I paired it with an outfit I have worn in the past for date night. The tunic sweater is just long enough to wear as a dress or tunic and this color is perfect for fall. I love how stretchy and comfortable it is, but wearing it as a dress with boots makes it more date night appropriate. I just included the as a bonus. :)

Tunic dress- Target; Tights- Walmart; Boots- DSW; Ring- Charming Charlie; Earrings- New York & Company; Hat- American Eagle

  1. Wow both outfits are totally cute. Not sure what I like best...... Loving the MK top with your payless shoes and the tights with the boots. I know what you mean about doing the trend spin link up, sadly I am not a hat person though.

  8. You are right, I should pull my hats out more often when I have a bad hair day. Normally I just throw it up in a bun, but a hat is another good option!

  9. Thanks! I had a few great deals there this weekend. I finally figured out which Goodwill by me has the best stuff. I think that is the trick to thrift shopping!

  11. Thanks Ginny! I love how stretchy it is, I was even able to wear it 9 months pregnant! I think Old Navy has some similar ones this year. :)
