Zoo a la Carte

Shirt- Kohl's; Cardigan and Skirt- Target; Shoes- GAP; Cluster bracelet- ebay; Other bracelets- gifts; Earrings- Accessorize

I just got this skirt on double clearance from Target (they had an extra 20% off all clearance last week) and a coupon (love Target coupons!). I got another one in pink I am debating on.

I wore it when we went to Zoo a la Carte at the Milwaukee Zoo this past Saturday. It's a four day event the zoo hosts where local restaurants set up tents all over the zoo and sell their food. Proceeds benefit the zoo. There are little 'villages' set up and a map with all the different restaurants and what they are serving with entertainment in each village. Matt's uncle and aunt got us an annual zoo pass when we first moved and we have renewed it every year. Our favorite event is going to Zoo a la Carte. It's so much fun and we loved getting to take Claire this year. She has been to the zoo before, but she was smaller and her eyesight hadn't fully developed so I'm not sure she actually saw the animals. She definitely did this time! We can't wait to take her again!

Have you ever seen baby peacocks?! We haven't and thought it was really neat!

  3. That sounds like so much fun! Glad you guys had a good time, Claire looks totally into it! And I love your skirt. I'm kind of wishing I'd picked it up last week, too, even though I felt it would be too short.

  10. I was debating it and figured I could buy and return it. It goes with a lot of my clothes and I don't have anything like it so it is staying!

  11. So do we! They always have fun events and I'm sure Claire will enjoy it more as she gets older, too.

  15. I love the zoo :) Elephants are my favorite, but not every zoo has them...so when I do get to see them, I get sooo excited! I LOVE your cardigan! I'm on the hunt for a mustard cardigan myself. I'm hoping that I'll be able to find one this fall that I love.

  17. I found this one at Target for $15 when I was 7 month pregnant and took a chance on the size. I am so glad I did because I wear it a lot! We are lucky the Milwaukee Zoo is a nice size with lots of animals (and elephants!).
