I know I am a bit behind, but this was my Independence Day outfit. I went a little festive with my color theme, but toned it down a lot. My shorts are white and light blue striped and my sweater is pink not red (obviously). If I do dress for holidays, I like to be toned down because otherwise I feel like Ms. Frizzle (especially since I work in a school).

We walked down to see the parade near our house yesterday for the first time (even though we have lived here 4 years). It was Claire's first parade and she slept through the whole thing! No fireworks for us (too late and too loud for Claire bear), maybe next year. What did you all do to celebrate?

  1. Love your watch :) I'd love to go to a parade, the the one hear is during nap time. Grant had a blast with fireworks though. Now that he's three we let him stay up until 10 and hung out at a neighbors house. He love it :)

    1. That's great! We might try to go to fireworks next year.

  2. Sounds like fun! Our day was devoid of fireworks as well, because the city stopped doing their show apparently, and it's illegal for anyone else to do them within city limits. But we still had a good time! I love your outfit, that bracelet is amazing!

    1. Bummer about the fireworks! Glad you still had a good time though!
