I Did it Myself

Shirt- Old Navy; Vest- Forever 21; Jeans- Forever 21; Shoes- Penney's (Irish Store); White and cluster bracelet- Ebayed; Watch- Michael Kors; Small chain bracelets- gifts; Earrings, rings, necklace- Bows to Toes Boutique; Purse- Coach

I took my photos today with the self-timer outside. It was a bit of a challenge to get my entire self in the frame (there were a few headless and footless shots), but learning to use my husband's DSLR is a good challenge for me. He isn't always able to take pics and I would rather not revert to iPhone selfies in our guest bedroom! Our weather is cooling off to the 70s for a few days and I jumped at the chance to layer. Now is the time I begin to wish for our 3 days of fall (yeah I typed that right. It feels like we only have a few of those beautiful crisp 50-60 degree days before it's too cold to be outside for long.). It feels like you have so many more clothes when you can layer them all! I love fall and wish it was a longer season here. What is your favorite season? How do you layer in the summer?

  2. The pictures are great! I use my self timer to take all my pictures. My husband just can't take a good picture to save his life and I don't always have someone around when I need a shot! Good job! Love the outfit also.

    1. I'm lucky my husband is the better photographer. Of course that makes it unlucky when I have to take photos with him not around!

  3. Yep, I have to use the self timer, too... You end up figuring it all out and manage to get pictures in 35 seconds flat! Well, you do if you have crazy kids who are begging for attention. ;) I love that pretty necklace!

  4. Good job! These look great. I love your vest! I've been looking for one just like that forever. I've gotten pretty good at self-timer photos, they key is to find a place to stand and mark it so that you can be sure you're in the frame every time! Have fun experimenting with self-timer photos. :)

    1. Good tip! I'll probably be experimenting more in the fall when I am back at work and don't want to wait until the end of the day (disheveled and exhausted) for my husband to take pics!
