Pencil Skirt- Casually

Tank top- Old Navy
Cardigan- H&M
Skirt- Old Navy
Sandals- Gap
Bracelets and ring- gifts
Watch- Michael Kors
Earrings- Francesca's Collections
Necklace- souvenir from South Korea

I've been building my collection of pencil skirts. For a long time I didn't think they looked good on me. I felt like they shortened my torso (and I thought it looked short enough as it was). However, I dislike buying specifically 'for work' clothes and 'not for work' clothes. The vast majority of my wardrobe functions as either (it helps that my work is pretty casual). Wearing a pencil skirt doesn't have to be just 'for work' though. My pencil skirt is jersey material and is easily worn for dressing up or more causal occasions.

I've worn it elsewhere here.

  1. I hate that too. Especially now that I no longer work, it's a bummer having just "work clothes" haha. I love how you toned the skirt down, such a fun look. :)

  3. I felt the same way about pencil skirts, but now find myself gravitating towards them. I love this one since it is jersey and can be dressed up or down! Thanks for linking up!
